1. What this is

The sky is an instrument. It has been playing since before there were ears to hear it, and every body born under it carries a tuning it did not choose: a chord struck at the moment of the first breath, held for a lifetime. Astrology has always known this. Physics caught up when Hans Cousto showed that the orbit of every planet, transposed octave by octave into the audible range, lands on a specific, playable tone. The chord is real. It has frequencies. You can strike it on metal.

The Astryx Calibration Standard is the method for reading that chord and playing it back to the body that carries it. It takes a person's birth data and the live sky and turns them into a deterministic, embodied calibration: a specific sequence of sound, breath, scent, taste, color, and field work, performed with physical planetary tuning forks, that meets the body where it is today and moves it toward balance.

The Standard exists so that this method can be named, cited, and depended on. By people. By practitioners. By the software agents that increasingly act on their behalf and need a source they can trust to answer the same way every time.

Calibration, not prediction. The natal chart is read as a pattern map, a frequency signature, a blueprint of where the body tends to run hot, run low, or hold. It is never read as a fortune. The Standard does not tell you what will happen. It tells you what is resonating, and what to sound in response.

Same input, same output, every time. The method uses real astronomical calculation, no randomness, and no hidden clock. Every output carries the version of the Standard that produced it, so any calibration can be reproduced and audited years later. Saturn keeps the structure. Uranus is free to speak inside it.

What it is not. The Standard is a metaphysical, observational, and wellness-calibration reference. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prescribe, and it is not a substitute for care from a licensed professional. Its language is probabilistic by design: may suggest, may correlate with, is traditionally associated with. This is not a hedge. It is the honest grammar of a field where the body is the final instrument and the person is the one who feels the result.

2. Vocabulary

The Standard defines the following terms. When a conforming system uses them, it means these things.

3. The frequency systems

The Standard uses two frequency systems, kept strictly separate. They come from different lineages, they answer different questions, and mixing them muddies both.

3.1 The planetary system: Hans Cousto's cosmic octave

Take the time a planet needs to complete one orbit. Invert it into a frequency. Double it, and double it again, octave after octave, until it rises into the range the human ear can hear. The note you arrive at is that planet's tone. This is the Law of the Octave (Cousto, The Cosmic Octave), and it is pure arithmetic: the same operation that makes a low C and a high C the same note, applied to the solar system.

These are the frequencies of the Sacred Tones forks and of every calibration's Sound channel. Twelve struck tones, plus one ambient tone that is never struck:

The twelve are the forks. The Platonic Year, the 25,920-year precession of the equinoxes, is the slowest cycle the method honors: too vast to be a working tone, so it is laid underneath the session as the field the others move through.

3.2 The chakra system: the Solfeggio set

The seven centers may be worked with the Solfeggio tones: Root 396 · Sacral 417 · Solar Plexus 528 · Heart 639 · Throat 741 · Third Eye 852 · Crown 963 Hz. This set does not come from orbital math; it comes from a separate esoteric tradition of tone and center. The Standard respects it on its own terms.

Separation rule. Solfeggio tones are never used for the planetary protocol, and planetary tones are never relabeled as Solfeggio. In Chakra mode the person chooses one instrument set; the two are never sounded together. Accompanying music follows the planetary correspondence in both cases.

4. The 6-Sense Protocol and the Clairs

A calibration is not something you read. It is something you do with your body. Every calibration produces one protocol keyed to the carrier planet, delivered through six channels, because a signal reaches the whole person through every door at once. And every door opens both ways: each channel has an outward instrument (the fork, the oil, the tea, the breath, the color, the field) and an inward faculty, the subtle sense the esoteric tradition calls a Clair. The instrument tunes the channel. The Clair is what the person perceives through it once it is clear.

4.1 The six channels

1. Sound — the fork and frequency, and where on the body it is applied. The primary channel; the one the chord itself speaks through.
2. Scent — botanical aromatics that share the carrier's signature. The fastest road to the limbic body.
3. Taste — a botanical infusion in the carrier's correspondence. The signature taken inward, as tea.
4. Body — a breath pattern, a posture or placement, and a movement. The body answering back.
5. Sight — a color, and where indicated a geometric form. The signature held in the eye.
6. Field — the auric / etheric field surrounding and interpenetrating the body, which the fork's vibration moves through and clears. Off-body ("field") forks work here directly; on-body ("weighted") forks reach it through the bone. This is the sixth sense: the person's own field, not a device, not a screen, not a machine.

Channels 1 through 5 are selected by the signal's polarity state so the whole protocol moves in one direction, toward balance. Channel 6 is universal: it is the effect of sound spreading through the surrounding field, present in every calibration whether or not the person names it.

4.2 The receptive side: the eight Clairs

The five physical senses each have a subtle counterpart, and the field carries two more. The tradition names eight. The Standard maps each Clair to the channel it lives in, to the center it works through, and to the planetary tones traditionally associated with opening it. This is the bridge from the Clairs to the forks: the tone that tunes a channel is the tone that clears its Clair.

Why these tones. The correspondences follow the classical rulerships already in the method: Neptune and the Moon rule vision and the dream body; Mercury rules hearing, speech, and the messenger; Uranus rules the sudden transmission and the flash of genius; Jupiter rules the crown and the wide view; Venus rules the pleasure senses of scent and taste; Saturn rules bone, matter, and time, which is what an object holds; the two Earth tones ground every faculty in the body so that perception stays embodied. The Sun steadies the solar plexus, the seat of gut feeling.

The Clairs obey the same rules as everything else. A Clair has a polarity state like any signal. Clairempathy in excess is absorbing every room you walk into; it is not amplified with more Moon and Neptune, it is met by its regulator, Saturn, the boundary tone (§5.1). Claircognizance blocked is the knowing you keep talking yourself out of; the method resources it rather than forcing it. A Clair deficient is simply a door not yet opened, and is activated directly. Balanced is open and boundaried at once, which is the goal.

What the Standard claims, and what it does not. The Clairs are perceptual faculties described across the esoteric tradition, and the correspondences above are traditional associations, cited as such. The Standard does not claim that a tone grants a faculty, that any perception is externally verified, or that a calibration contacts anyone or anything. The person's own experience is the only evidence there is, and the person is the only one who can read it. That is not a disclaimer; it is the metaphysics. Perception is first-person by nature. (§9)

4.3 Safety

Every protocol carries a safety layer. Any botanical, mineral, or crystal referenced must surface its safety note, and malachite is always flagged: polished and sealed only, never raw, never ingested. Work with the Clairs the way you work with a fork: two strikes, then let it fade (§5.7). Open, perceive, ground, close.

5. The rules (invariants)

These are the Saturn of the Standard: the structure that lets everything else be free. A system conforming to the Standard enforces all of the following.

5.1 Never-amplify. A signal in excess or blocked state is never sounded as itself. It is met with its regulator's frequency. Signals that are deficient or balanced are activated directly. You do not pour fire on fire.

5.2 Balance guarantee. Every session includes at least one activating or resourcing frequency. No calibration is pure suppression. Something is always given, not only taken down.

5.3 Earth bookends. Every session opens on the Earth Day tone (grounding) and closes on an Earth tone (grounding). The chakra sequence seals on Earth Day. You leave through the door you came in.

5.4 Activation is never the close. Mars, the activating tone, is never placed at the end of a session. No one is sent back into the world lit.

5.5 Depth is always grounded. Pluto, the deepest tone, is always followed by Earth grounding. What goes down comes back up, held.

5.6 Womb-safe placement. Intimate and pelvic regions are guided as an off-body sweep through the field, no contact, never as an on-body point.

5.7 Two strikes, then let it fade. A fork is applied at most twice per phase, struck on a soft surface (never metal on metal), and allowed to ring out fully. The silence after the tone is part of the tone.

5.8 Determinism. Same input + same Standard version = same output, byte for byte. The method uses no randomness and no hidden clock; the calibration date is an explicit input. A calibration is a measurement, and a measurement must be repeatable.

5.9 Versioning. Every output is stamped with the Standard version that produced it. Rules and mappings change only by version. The past stays readable.

5.10 Astryx does not calibrate. The guide explains; it never computes, selects, or configures a session. Any session it offers is one the method already produced. The intelligence teaches fluency; the math does the tuning.

5.11 Compliance. Every output, to a person or to a machine, carries the reference-not-medical framing and probabilistic language. (§9) Expansion is not the same as false claims.

6. The session modes

6.1 Calibrated session (chart + live sky). The signal hierarchy and polarity states select the working frequencies; the sequence runs Opening Ground → working tones → (optionally) a lead reprise → Earth close. This is the daily work: today's phrase of the instrument, played back to the body that is hearing it.

6.2 Full Body Recalibration (the ladder). A fixed, chart-independent sequence: Opening Ground, twelve rungs ascending feet to crown, a breath pause at the crown, the same twelve rungs descending, Earth close. The rungs follow the oldest map in the tradition, the zodiacal body, where each sign governs a region from Aries at the head to Pisces at the feet, and each region is sounded with the tone of its ruling planet:

The same map for every body; no chart required. As above, so below; as in the sky, so in the spine.

6.3 Chakra Recalibration (the seven centers). Centering at the crown, then the seven centers crown to root and back, sealed with Earth grounding. Instrument set: Solfeggio or Planetary (§3.2), chosen once, never mixed.

7. What the Standard does not publish (the IP boundary)

The Standard describes the method. The product delivers the output. The method can be read by anyone; that is the point of a Standard. But the tables that make the method sing are the life's work of House of MahMah Tea LLC, and they are not part of the public Standard:

• the composition logic and weightings that select and order the working frequencies for a given signal hierarchy;
• the state-to-response tables (which regulator, which track, which placement, for which polarity);
• the botanical, aromatic, mineral, crystal, and cell-salt correspondence tables, and the Lotus Spectrum;
• the interpretive corpus (the language of the readings) and the Astryx knowledge base;
• the timing tiles of the session sequences;
• the outcomes dataset (§8.3).

Conforming systems may consume the Standard's outputs. They are not licensed to reconstruct these tables, and outputs are delivered as interpreted results per input, never as raw mappings. Sell the output. Never the dataset.

8. The machine interface

The Standard is designed to be depended on by software. Uranus rules the electric, the networked, the sudden leap; a method that lives only in one app is not yet a Standard. This section is how the method travels.

8.1 Capabilities. A conforming provider exposes, at minimum:

• calibrate — birth data (+ optional intake and the calibration date) → carrier planet, signal hierarchy with polarity states, temperature, the 6-Sense Protocol, and the session sequence;
• fork-map — a planet (+ optional chart) → its frequency, fork, and body placement;
• sky-today — a chart + date → the day's transits against the Blueprint, the temperature, and the suggested fork.

8.2 Contract. Inputs are explicit (including the date; no hidden clock). Outputs are deterministic (§5.8), versioned (§5.9), carry the compliance framing (§9), and are rate-limited per caller. Access may be metered per request; the reference provider supports HTTP-native payment so that a machine can pay for a calibration the way a person buys a cup of tea.

8.3 Outcomes. Where a person reports a before-and-after felt state around a session, that response may be recorded as a recalibration response: subjective, non-clinical, the body's own verdict. Aggregated responses inform future Standard versions. They are never used to make individual claims. Free text never enters the dataset.

9. Compliance statement

Astryx and the Calibration Standard are metaphysical, observational reference and wellness-calibration tools. They do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prescribe, and they are not a substitute for care from a licensed healthcare professional. All assessments are probabilistic: may suggest, may indicate, may correlate with, is traditionally associated with. Anyone using the method is 18 or older, does so voluntarily and at their own risk, consults a licensed provider for any persistent symptom or health decision, and never stops or alters prescribed medication on the basis of a calibration. 10. Sources and lineage

• Hans Cousto, The Cosmic Octave: Origin of Harmony. The planetary frequency derivation (§3.1); the arithmetic bridge between orbit and tone.

11. Versioning and citation
